I use these pieces in bedrooms, sunrooms and other areas to set a tone of calm. A quiet energy that slips beautifully into many different environments.
When you need to wear it!
Here you can find one of a kind items, pieces that remind you about what is important in your life or set a mood that makes a space a positive, calming or uplifting place to be.
A Chinese language created and used only by women at a time they were not allowed to read or write using the official state language. To see images and find out more click here.
Recently in China a discovery was made. A language dating back thousands of years, created & used exclusively by women. The language: Nushu, was created at a time when women were denied use of the written language used by men. It was a secret developed by a sisterhood of women so that they could communicate between themselves. It is a simple system of lines worked into the spaces of traditional Chinese handicrafts. The simple lines were insignificant to those not looking for it, but meant the world to those who knew the secret. I am pleased to be able to share with you some of the words & phrases of Nushu.
"Since I can remember I have been fascinated by the rich color and pattern found in profusion in our everyday world. My pieces play upon those patterns obvious and those overlooked and underappreciated.
Taking advantage of the rich color and luminosity working with glass on copper provides me, it is my hope that my work inspires people to view enamels from a fresh perspective and gain a renewed appreciation
for this disappearing art form." KSE
